Bench

There’s a little wooden bench seat that faces out to the woods
How calming with the sunset breeze.

The single human souls all around rushing to their destinations
I see across from me, a deep scarlet tree
Leaves bunched like grapevines.

My world is calm, I go slowly to mine.
Happy days are here again.
